When you buy bok choy or any other Chinese greens you can cut the bottom of and put it on a tray with a little water and they will start to grow again...I planted them into my vegetable garden yesterday ...One of my lovely readers who posted a comment on another blog post I did on regrowing spinach said she regrows bok choy ..so do I but I forgot to add that to my list but thought I would post and show you all...Pretty much like free food really ..I save any meat trays I get and use them for this...
I have never tried Bok Choy so I will buy some to try this. Marion
ReplyDeleteI have now bought some Pak Choy is Tesco to try this. They started sprouting and are now growing well in my Kitchen Garden. The Slugs found them so I have surrounded them with Slug Gone. Thank you for introducing me to a Vegetable that I hadn't even heard of Sherrie. Marion
ReplyDeleteHi Sussexmouse, that is super , its great trying new foods..I saw a post just recently on Dr Mercolas website on al the health benefits of eating bok choy...Thanks for posting to let me know ....its one of the quickest & easiest vegetables to grow..happy bok choy eating....
