Clothes Peg Carrier !

Clothes Peg Carrier !
Here is my latest recycled project.
We buy envirocare sensitive body and hair cleanser. It comes in different sizes but we buy the 5 litre container and it lasts us a little over a year.I have been thinking other then putting them into the recycle bin, what can I do with them. A few years ago we used to take them back and they would be returned to the company and refilled, but apparently for health reasons they stopped doing this, which was a shame.Any way back to thinking of ways to reuse them,I thought what about a peg container/carrier. So I cut the section out as you can see in the photo with a cutter, which was very easy to do. It has a handle so makes it easy to carry out to the clothes line. What do others think, would it be some thing you would make yourself. I would love to hear your thoughts, please post and share.  What  else could they be used for ? You could put a few drainage holes in the bottom and grow herbs or plants maybe a strawberry plant or two.

  4. We use 2litre juice containers in a similar way.

We have an on-site caravan and I cut some bottles down and put the toiletries for showering in them. It kept them dry and was easy to carry to the shower block.
I have one in the van with similar things in.

Hubby uses a couple in the shed for screws and things. I have them in the garden shed for hose bits and small things I don't want to lose...

We cut the juice containers differently though and they wouldn't be as strong but we can all use what we have on hand for similar projects.

  10. Hi Sherrie, Thought I'd pop over to visit. Great little peg carrier-very clever. My hubby Petal is always reusing items like this in his shed. Maa.

  11. Good idea, Sherrie, and looks really good too. I hang my clothes under our house, so leave the pegs on the line. However, I might use your idea about planting things in this type of container. PS received the cards in the mail today, and they are beautiful... I've already used one for a friend's birthday. Thanks so much :)
