Ooh, I like this one Sherrie! I do keep paper that comes in the mail to write on and I have been trying to keep the envelopes to re-use them by opening them up inside out and reglue-ing them but haven't had a chance to yet. This idea is great. I do cut out all the stamps to keep for Joshua so that he can practice his gluing skills.
ReplyDeletethis is a great little idea, thanks for sharing, i love being able to reuse items.

I use them for various thing. Here's a few.
ReplyDeleteSeeds, I have 3 here now with onion, lettuce and marigold seeds that I collected this week. They will go in a Milo tin in the garden shed.
Money. Set amounts that I am saving for something. It then goes away until I am ready to spend it.
Notes to myself or someone else.
Bookmark. I lost my bookmark and this was on the table so...
I cut paper down to make *notepads* that I use for shopping list or reminders. A lot of stuff that we get is only printed on one side so instead of shredding for the chooks I cut it into 4 sections and stick it on the fridge.
Barb.
I just found you blog today and I love it. You have so many great ideas I really appreciate them. I looked through your whole blog at all your posts. Please keep the posts coming I really like your craft ideas. You can find my blog at www.jeffratzlaff.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI have mine clipped on the side of the fridge to a magnetic bulldog clip, another next to the computer and another by the phone. I keep heaps of single-sided printed flyers and envelopes to use for lists, notes etc. Election years are great for topping up supplies! A stack kept in the car is always handy too for quick notes or whatever. I have been known to reuse those pre-printed envelopes that come with bills etc and use them to mail things to others. I like Barb's suggestion for seeds, so I'll keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteHi! Im from SS, hope you dont mind if I tag along :)
ReplyDeleteI use junk mail envelopes to write grocery lists on, and stuff coupons inside them. And junk mail paper that is blank on the back gets used for when I need to print a coupon. love posts like this that get me to thinking about ways to reuse. thx!
