Macadamia & Oat Biscuits !
Here is my weekly biscuit recipe !
I had some macadamia nuts in a jar in my pantry that I wanted to use up as I only buy ones in the shell now as they don't go rancid. Here is my recipe!
250 grams butter.
1 cup raw sugar.
1 cup crushed macadamia nuts.
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups wholemeal SR flour.
Method: Melt butter and mix dry ingredients together add melted butter, then egg stir until well mixed , I roll into balls a bit larger then walnut size then when on tray I flatten with my egg slice cook in a preheated oven 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown I made 46 biscuits . Cool well before storing in air tight container. Note: if the mixture is a little dry add a few tablespoons of water .
Another note: To people who have a problem with wheat you can use rice flour.
