Almond Milk !
I used to make almond milk a lot when I wasn't eating any dairy products. I made some this morning, this time I used almond meal
I usually soak the almonds in hot water and slip all the skins off. I only had almond meal so I used that it was so much quicker.
Recipe!
1 cup of almond meal
5 cups water ( I used rainwater)
1/8 teaspoon Himalayan salt
1 dessert spoon honey
Blend well and then stain and bottle. This will make 1.4 litres.Any pulp that is left add a piece of fruit and a cup of almond milk blend up and you'll have a smoothie ! Great for people who cannot tolerate dairy, use on breakfast cereal or in place of other milks !
