Instead of buying envelopes ,make your own
a great activity to get the children to do.Get an old used envelope gently open it out to sit flat and use for a template, get some paper, it could be old bills, magazine pages etc and place template on and trace around it then cut it out and fold up and glue. Put a few pages together then cut them out to make it quicker , they can be really bright funky and colourful to send cards or other mail in . It's all about using what you have. You could also make CD /DVD covers ,packets for fruit & vegetable seeds I'm sure there are lots of other uses .
