(Made From Plastic Mesh Bags)
Some times when be buy oranges they come in plastic mesh bags ! What to do with them ! I folded then in half I then zig zaged down the side with my sewing machine then rolled them down like you would a sock !Now you wont need to buy scourers to wash all those pots and pans again. So you can save money and the environment by reusing something that most people just throw away !
So happy washing up to you all ! I've never owned a dishwasher, I told you all I live a real simple life. As we are on rainwater tank the water is too precious to waste .I wash my dishes in a tub in the kitchen sink and then empty on the garden .
Note: Another great idea these scourers are great for cleaning between the prongs of forks just push the fork through the scourer couldn't be easier !
What a great idea Sherrie, will definitely try this one, I have so many orange mesh bags hanging around.

I just use mine as is (I can't like sewing!) and scrunch it up into a ball when I use it LOL. This are sooo handy! They don't scratch your dishes etc either :)

Just found your blog yesterday. Made muffins last night. When it came to wash the bowl I looked at my scourer and my sponge and thought of the floury goo that would get caught in them. Aah, light bulb moment! I had a bag of oranges! Made the scourer and washed the bowl with that. Of course, being so open-weave the batter had nothing to stick to and washed straight off - brilliant! Thanks.
